RF Site Survey, troubleshooting & installation
When having a professional perform an active WIFI site survey the savings from not using excessive access points, MIMO antennae, Ethernet cabling and switch ports will more than pay for the site survey. There is also the issue of performance; by having a professional 802.11 r/f site survey performed, the WLAN will work at an optimum level eliminating r/f interference, due to environment and conflicts due to too many access points. In many cases, with regards to access points, less is more.
A WIFI RF site survey prevents many problems which can prevent the RF signal from reaching all parts of the facility including mulitpath distortion. Without a survey, it is almost certain to end up with inadequate coverage which will result in low performance in some areas..
